Dimitra A. Tsakiri is an associate at KNOETZL. Her main areas of practice are international commercial arbitration, investment protection under bilateral and multilateral treaties and investment contracts, and public international law.
Before joining KNOETZL, she worked as a member of the dispute resolution group of leading law firms in Geneva and Athens, gaining further experience in the fields of construction, energy, IP, as well as privacy law. Her experience includes assisting arbitral tribunals and counsels in high profile investor-state and commercial disputes involving among others transportation and renewable energy projects.
Dimitra is admitted to the Athens Bar Association and is licensed to practice law in Greece. She holds a Law Degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and an LL.M. in International Dispute Settlement (MIDS) jointly from the Geneva University Law School and the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies. She also undertook legal studies at the University of Vienna. During her studies, she participated in the 22nd Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition, as well as in the 22nd Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in which she was awarded an Honorable Mention for her oral presentation and her team was ranked in the top 16.
