Payel Mazumdar is a legal intern at KNOETZL specializing in international commercial and investment arbitration as well as in public international law.
Payel holds an LL.M. in Litigation and Dispute Resolution from University College London and a bachelor’s degree in law from Symbiosis Law School Pune in India. Prior to joining KNOETZL, she worked as a foreign visiting consultant in the international arbitration team of a Tier 1 multinational law firm in London and was also a trainee lawyer with a pre-eminent U.S. international arbitration firm in Paris. She frequently publishes on different areas of international arbitration .
She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb), Young Austrian Arbitration Practitioners (YAAP) and Young Practitioners Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC40).
Payel is qualified to practice law and is admitted to the Bar in India.
