On 8 November 2023, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina hosted the ninth edition of the Sarajevo Arbitration Day “Making International Arbitration fit for the future”. The event, organized by Association ARBITRI, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) and co-sponsored by KNOETZL, brought together international arbitration experts, legal counsels and businesses from the CEE and SEE regions to discuss the prevalent and emerging issues in the field, offering insights, exchange of knowledge and experience and engagement in dynamic discussions.
Partner Jurgita Petkutė alongside Dmitri Evseev and Nasir Muftic, under the moderation of Armela Ramić, contributed to the panel on the “Arbitral v. Artificial Intelligence – are arbitration practitioners and institutions ready for a fast-changing world?“, where she spoke about the opportunities, limits and risks of artificial intelligence in the field of commercial arbitration as well as emerging related regulatory initiatives.
