SCC Arbitration Institute at KNOETZL

Efficiency in arbitration is not a static goal — it requires continuous reflection and refinement of the tools we use. Drawing the best from both civil and common law traditions is key to meeting the demands of increasingly complex disputes – that was the key takeaway from the panel discussion “Mastering (Cost-) Efficiency in Complex Disputes” organized on 14 April 2025 by KNOETZL in collaboration with the SCC Arbitration Institute. Moderated by Jurgita Petkutė (KNOETZL),  Jake Lowther (SCC), Gretta Walters (Chaffetz Lindsey LLP), Jennifer Bryant (Noerr), Alicja Zielinska-Eisen (Queritius) and Florian Haugeneder (KNOETZL) offered a variety of perspectives on how to navigate complex disputes efficiently and strategically, with a special focus on the SCC Arbitration Institute’s efficiency toolkit.

Many thanks to everyone who joined and contributed to this engaging exchange!
