Laura Gottardi

Laura Gottardi is an associate at KNOETZL focusing on litigation and dispute resolution. She brings background of practice in corporate and commercial law.
Laura studied business law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU), where she obtained both her LLB and LLM degrees .
Before joining KNOETZL, Laura completed her clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Vienna and practiced as an associate, advising on corporate law matters and a broad range of contentious and non-contentious proceedings. She passed the Austrian Bar Exam successfully.
Laura also brings an international perspective to her work through internships at the Austrian Delegation to NATO in Brussels and at the European Parliament. She also accumulated experience in the legal department of the Austrian National Bank (OeNB) and at TPA Steuerberatung.
In addition to her practice, Laura co-authored a commentary on the Austrian Flexible Companies Act (FlexKapGG), published by Linde. She is the founder and former president of Early Birds Urban Movement, a community sports initiative she led from 2019 to 2023. Beyond her legal practice, Laura is a dedicated endurance athlete, competing in long-distance running and Ironman 70.3 events.
