Ines Sandler is an Associate at KNOETZL, focusing on civil litigation and white-collar crime.

She studied law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, earning her LLB and LLM with top rankings and multiple distinctions, including the Rector’s List and placement among the university’s highest-performing students. Her LLM thesis focused on measures to combat VAT fraud, and she specialized in Entrepreneurship & Innovation in the university’s Excellence Program. Ines further broadened her academic profile with an LLM obtained from New York University School of Law, where she also worked as a research assistant in the Hauser Colloquium project on judicial accountability. She passed the New York Bar Exam and is scheduled to be sworn in as a member of the New York Bar Association.

Ines has gained broad practical experience in corporate and public law, supporting complex transactions and strategic investment projects. She also completed legal internships at the Higher Regional Court of Vienna and at several Austrian law firms, and she contributed to tax law research. She has additional experience working in tax-related roles at the Austrian Ministry of Finance, a major Austrian bank, and a legal research institute.
