Katrin is a highly experienced and trusted first-chair litigator with a strong background in M&A and finance transactions and 25 years of experience. As a partner with KNOETZL since its establishment in 2016, she has built a track record of successfully representing predominantly multinational clients in complex, high-stakes and high-profile disputes.
Her practice focuses on shareholder and investment disputes, manager liability, disputed M&A transactions, as well as contentious matters involving insurance, financing, international trade (B2B, B2C, distribution), and cross-border insolvency. In recent years, she has acted in cases spanning the banking, energy, construction, social media, and life sciences industries, often with dispute values reaching into the billions of euros.
Katrin’s geographical reach is as extensive as her subject matter expertise. She advises and represents clients in arbitration, litigation, and asset recovery proceedings across Austria, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Germany, Russia, Italy, the UK, Cyprus, Singapore, Brazil, and the United States.
