Austrian Arbitration Academy

During summer, the small town of Strobl at the Wolfgangsee in the Austrian Salzkammergut is the home of the Austrian Arbitration Academy, organized by the Sommerhochschule of the University of Vienna. This two-week program offers a hands-on, engaging introduction to international arbitration, bringing together students from around the world who share a genuine interest in the field. It has become something of a tradition for our partners, Patrizia Netal and Florian Haugeneder, to take part as lecturers, sharing their practical experience on conducting oral hearings, working with witnesses and experts, discussing cross-examination techniques, and delivering effective opening statements.
Teaching at the Summer Academy is always a wonderful experience, offering exchange with bright, curious minds from diverse legal backgrounds. At KNOETZL, we are proud to support the education of the next generation of arbitration practitioners.
