Be Prepared: Austria’s new era of collective redress is coming! This year, Austria introduced its own groundbreaking legislation to comply with EU Directive 2020/1828, now in force.  The new law enables  collective actions to be filed with the Commercial Court in Vienna. For the first time in Austrian jurisprudence, groups of 50, with similar claims can join forces to pursue a combined action.
