Taking of evidence in international arbitration
It was all about the taking of evidence in international arbitration for our partner Jurgita Petkutė, who has been part of engaging discussions on this topic this fall:
- in Dubrovnik at the ARBCEE Retreat, proudly supported by KNOETZL, where together with Miroslav Dubovsky she explored expert evidence
- in Vienna at the South-East European Arbitration Conference, where she joined Lucian Ilie (moderator), Dragan Psodorov, Sebastian Coulon Bauer, Monica Crespo Chanis, Tania Iosifova and Peter Riznik discussing protection of sensitive commercial and personal information in the taking of evidence in arbitration
- as well as in Vilnius at the IBA Workshop, together with Lucia Raimanova Dr, Cosmin Vasile FCIArb Ximena Herrera, Simona Budreikaite (moderator) exchanging on the practices developed in document production while applying the IBA Rules on the taking of evidence.
Each event sparked dynamic discussions, highlighted emerging trends, explored the challenges and opportunities, and underscored the importance of evidence in arbitration proceedings.
Thanks to everyone who joined and contributed to the discussion!
