On Sunday, 24 March 2024, on the occasion of the Vis Moot KNOETZL partner Patrizia Netal delivered a speech at the 12^th Bergsten lecture at the University of Vienna. The 12^th Bergsten lecture was given by Prof. Patricia Shaughnessy (President of the Vis Moot Association) on the topic of “Arbitration and the Rule of Law: delivering justice in a consent-based, private process”.

Together with Christopher Kee (Professor and Dean (Education), Flinders University, Vis Moot Co-Director) and Stefan Kröll (Professor, Bucerius Law School, Vis Moot Co-Director) Patrizia discussed various aspects of arbitration autonomy faced with criminal law.
