12th Bergsten lecture – “Arbitration and the Rule of Law: delivering justice in a consent-based, private process”.

On Sunday, 24 March 2024, on the occasion of the Vis Moot KNOETZL partner Patrizia Netal delivered a speech at the 12th Bergsten lecture at the University of Vienna. The 12th Bergsten lecture was given by Prof. Patricia Shaughnessy (President of the Vis Moot Association) on the topic of “Arbitration and the Rule of Law: delivering justice in a consent-based, private process”.

Together with Christopher Kee (Professor and Dean (Education), Flinders University, Vis Moot Co-Director) and Stefan Kröll (Professor, Bucerius Law School, Vis Moot Co-Director) Patrizia discussed various aspects of arbitration autonomy faced with criminal law.
